Two sides of the same coin… On the one side, Viotia is surrounded by mountains and on the other side by the sea… The coastline of the region sprawling along the Gulf of Corinth promises intense summer emotions. Start your tour from the coastal Antikyra settlement to reach beautiful Alyki in the cove of Domvreni to enjoy from relaxing dips and sunbathing at peaceful beaches to diving. In Antikyra you will find one of the most popular beaches in the entire region of Viotia, Aghios Isidoros, easily accessible for visitors. It has small pebbles and a breathtaking seabed, while it is also a natural fishing shelter. In Aghios Isidoros you can combine swimming with a meal at one of the traditional taverns in the area. Shortly after Antikyra, you will find yourself in Aspra Spitia, a seaside settlement, and the famous Aghios Nikolaos beach. Head south and make a stop to Saranti beach, a magical place with crystal-clear waters within a pristine environment. At the end of the coastal zone of Viotia is Alyki, within an isolated cove with calm and relatively shallow waters. It has sand and pebbles, is easily accessible, so it is the right option for the entire family! Livadostratas is another beach you will find after Alyki. It is a sublime coast with thick sand, while the coastline of Viotia ends at the beautiful Aghios Vasileios beach.

Starting from North Evia, the part of the island that is packed with green, the beaches are divided into those bounded by the Aegean and the north Euboean Gulf. Near the northernmost edge of the island are thetropical Lichadonissia, Aidipsos with the hea;ing waters and Chryssi Akti, one of the most beautiful beaches in North Euboea, with turquoise waters, fine sand and trees reaching the beach, offering a breathtaking setting and rich shade. Pefki is another settlement in the north part of the island, combining mountain and sea and with the biggest organised beach in North Evia. It is very long and combines sand and pebbles, while it is also a holiday resort with many tourist infrastructure. On the north part of the island the side overlooking the Aegean is the famous Aghia Anna settlement (also known as “Agali”), with the astonishing beach and the endless skyline of the sea. In the opposite direction, at the side of the Euboean Gulf is the settlement of Rovies, with the large, organised pebbly beach of the same name, lined with cafes and restaurants. South of Rovies, after a few kilometers, is Limni, a picturesque settlement built amphitheatrically, distinguised by captain houses, amazing architecture, rich vegetation and sandy ebaches with clean, calm waters. Heading south, you will find yourself in the beautiful Dafni beach. Make a stop to Mourteri beach, located in the middle of the island. It is probably the biggest beach in Evia, both sandy and pebbly, close to Kymi and overlooking the Aegean, therefore it is particularly windswept. South of Mourteri is Koradisa, the perfect combination of sea and mountains. It is an amazing beach, with pebbles and emerald, crystal-clear waters. After Korasida, make a stop to the beautiful Stomio beach. Kymi has many beaches, some of the biggest ones in Euboea, with the view of the unrivalled, endless blue of the Aegean. Armyrichi is one of them, with sand and small pebbles. Thanks to its geographical position, it is sheltered from the wind. Close to Kymi is the coastal settlement of Chili, with the Aegean stretching to the horizon. If you want to swim, you have to walk down the stairs leading straight to the deep, limpid waters of the sea. It is the ideal setting for the lovers of diving and exploration of the sea bed. On the side of the Aegean, you will find the famous, extensive Chiliadou beach, with the crystal-clear deep waters and the pebbly coast, the hidden wild Vythouri beach, with the deep waters from the reflection of theblack pebbles and the black thick sand. The setting is truly impressive. In addition, due to its location between two large rocks, the beach is washed by the sun only 6 hours a day in the summer, offering many hours of natural shade. On the same side, you will find the beautiful Petali beach and Limnionas shortly afterwards. The dreamy Thapsa beach and the neighbouring Tsilaros are other beaches bounded by the Aegean. Chalkida, the capital of Euboea is located in the middle of the island, on the side of the Euboean Gulf. Even inside the town, you can find beautiful beaches combined with nice food and ouzo by the sea. Alternatively, you can visit Drosia, shortly outside Chalkida,with the famous, cosmopolitan and sandy Alikes beach lined with beach bars, a popular destination for one-day trips. Outside Chalkida you can find quaint settlements with scenic beaches, like Vasilika and Lefkanti.

Englezonisi, also known as Ktyponissi, is an uninhabited islet opposite Panagitsa beach at Drosia, a true experience reminiscent of a small piece of heaven! This is a small island packed with green, pine trees, hills and, of course, dreamy sandy beaches. It is also an ideal destination for those who love fishing and diving.

If you choose to visit the south part of the island or continue your tour to it, you will find yourself in amazing beaches! Make a stop to Porto Boufalo, a fishing settlement in the south Euboean Gulf and one of the most magnificent places in south Euboea, with the beach of the same name, characterised by dreamy, limpid waters. From there, visit Almyropotamos, a traditional seaside settlement, with Panaghia being its seaport. It has one of the most astonishing beaches in the Euboean Gulf, attracting a large number of visitors every year and lined with small tourism facilities. Head south, to Styra and Marmari with the scenic beaches. Visit Karystos, a popular destination and holiday resort in South Euboea. It is a historical town brimming with beaches that are idea for families, water sports, fishing and diving. It can become the base to explore the alluring settlements and beaches in “Cavo D’ Oro” and the side surrounded by the Aegean. if go choose to go south, you will find Kalamos beach that consists of two small coves separated by a rock. Due to its geographical location it is sheltered from the wind. Once you arrive, the view from above is breathtaking… Heading on the same side of the Aegean, you will find even more beautiful beaches, like Aghios Dimitrios. A visit to Petalii, an island complex opposite Marmari in the south Euboean Gulf, with 10 tiny islands that look like dots on the map. They are packed with fantastic beaches with crystal-clear, azure waters, perfect for submarine exploring, rocky coasts, sandy beaches, rich vegetation and magnificent coves, many of which are accessible just by boat.

It is the ultimate all-year destination. Though not a coastal place, the sea is worthily replaced by the rivers that promise blissful summer moments, filled with sun, water sports, swimming and adventure! The majesty of nature is reflected in the landscapes of the rivers and their environment. River Achelous, in its course from Pindus to the Ionian Sea, passes through Evrytania and results in the formation of tributaries, AgrafiotisTavropos and Trikeriotis, which enrich their waters with the reservoirs of the area. The area is perfect for cayaking, rafting and canoying! Karpenissiotis, on the other hand, is a river stretching along 15 kilometers , flows from the west slopes of Tymfristos, passes through Klidi and is connected with Krikelopotamos at Dipotama, creating the formation of Triketriotis. The riverside is lined with plane trees and firs that along with the river waters create a fairytale setting. Trikeriotis is famous to people who love rafting. Τhe 10-km-long river has steep bends and closed passages, therefore it has a high level of difficulty but offers and exciting route! Before Krikelopotamos joins Karpenissiotis, it goes through narrow passes and the unique Panta Vrehi gorge. When the weather conditions are favourable, it is a canoying heaven for experienced athletes. The main tributary of Achelous, Argafiotis, seperates Agrafa into East and West and reaches Lake Kremasta. The nature surrounding the landscape cannot be described in words. Creeks, rich vegetation, waterfalls… Tavropos starts from Karditsa region and flows in Lake Kremasta. With a total length of 78 km, it passes through the beautiful verdant landscapes of Evrytaniaand this is the most beautiful part of its course! At the point where the river passes and is the stone bridge of Viniani start the rafting descents of moderate difficulty.

On the other side, Phthiotis is the perfect destination for those seeking wellness. The thermal springs of Kamena Vourla are characteristic and have transformed the area into a holiday resort. Visit the beach of Kirra village, a place of exceptional beauty with crystal-clear waters. The beach of Chiliadou is amazing and awarded with the blue flag, just like Sergoula beach with the big plane trees. Eratini beach is a popular summer resort with the astonishing view of the Gulf of Corinth and the sea that slopes steeply to deep, limpid water. Aghios Nikolaos is among the most popular beaches in Phocis, organised with beach bars, crysta-clear waters, fine pebbles and surrounded by the mountain, within a marvellous setting. Aghios Isidoros beach is also organised and has fine pebbles. Miami is a sandy beach with limpid waters, while Monastiraki beach is another exceptional choice to combine swimming with a nice meal at ouzo restaurants or traditional taverns, depending on your taste. A visit to beautiful and verdant Trizonia, the only inhabited island in the Gulf of Corinth is a must experience.
