Go paragliding, skydiving, fly with an ultralight trike or parapente, which is the most popular and simplest flight form without engine, with the upward drafts being the only lifting power. Choose the two-seat flight, as it doesn’t require previous experience. All you have to do is make a couple of steps to be lifted in the air and a few steps to get to the ground. In addition, the climb Plaka at Sykia in Fokida is one of the most important climbs in Europe. It is 1.200-meter-tall and is an attraction for the lovers of the actitivy for short or all-day trips, offering a unique alterntive tourism experience.

All the security measures are kept in the area, with water skiing made at least 200 meters from the bathers. In addition, Central Greece breaks ground in the sport, as in Boeotia and specifically in Aliartos, operates a water ski school in freshwater, unique in the country, to live a different experience!

If you love rafting, visit Tavropos to live beautiful decent moments, suitable both for beginners and more experienced visitors. Starting from Palea Viniani, within a landscape of wild beauty and rich vegetation, you will reach Megdova bridge after a magical 10-km-long route. When you get off the boat, all you have to do is walk across the impressive waterfall of Viniani, a place to remember for its beauty. The descent has medium level of difficulty, but is also suitable for beginners, as you will not meet any dangerous spots.

“Panta Vrehi” gorge is located between Roska and Doliana and is considered as one of the most scenic spots in Evrytania. If you are interested to go hiking in the area, you have to drive through mount Kaliakouda until you reach Krikelopotamos. There, you can start river trekking at the banks and inside the river, where at some spots the water even reaches your waist. After about 45 minutes, you will arrive at the waterfalls, where you can swim if you want to. You van return in the same way and if you want, you can enjoy the views from the suspension bridge. Because of the long distance and the wild nature conditions, the route is not appropriate for children.

If you want to find out more about horseback archery, the most ancient martial art, all you have to do is visit Mexiates, a lush village at Phthiotis. Horseback archery is a quite difficult martial art, since it requires the right handling of the arch in motion and the horseback equilibrium without reins. Horseback archery dates back to the beginning of the definition of war and worldwide history. In the area, you can organise your own route, choose your horse and educator and enjoy a unique and memorable experience!

Bungee jumping (Chalkida)

In Chalkida, within short distance from Athens, you can experience a sport that offers strong emotions, specifically from the large bridge of the town. It wasn’t popular until a couple of years ago and attracts mostly young people who want to experience the unique feeling caused by the fall from great height. Specifically, it is a jump from an erected structure, with the athlete being tied with an elastic cord. The cord recoils until the kinetic energy is dissipated. Every day in the summer months and every weekend the rest of the year, hundreds of people make a fall, always under the guidance of a strictly professional team, in modern bungy platforms, according to strict safety standards and with the certification of international organisations.

Diving is a staggering experience for those who want to dip into the crystal-clear waters of the sea, admire the morphology of the sea bed and see the great underwater wealth in person. The submarine landscapes, adorned with shells and orange starfish, sea anemones and green valleys of seaweed, shoals of fish, octapus and sea turtles, are awe-inspiring. Everyone can enjoy them, by choosing a school to get the adequate equipment or reach the open sea with a lugger to make an organised exploration of the sea bed.
